“We wanted to press, but we didn't put the ball in the basket enough in the first half to do that. Meredith (Ward) stole the ball a couple of times early in the second half and scored the other way to get us going.”
“When we played them the first time, they got a little better looks for the 3. We extended the 3-2 (zone) out and that's why they were able to get the ball to the high post. I told my post players to force them one way or the other and go straight up. They were getting good looks. But fortunately for us, they were having problems putting it in.”
